There you gooooo!


This blog is what I chose from the other class and I like her blog, GolfyMiky the best! Her blog looks really clear with a lot of nice picutres! I like her way of expressing things using pictures. I'm interested in the movie she recommends :)




Viva La Vida is one of my favs too! The bolg name is like my favourite Cold Play's song. I don't know she meant to be or not, but anyway, I like her bolg because I want to try Hockey Pockey :)
She uses a lot of pastel colours so it's really easy to see the letters and pictures.





Diary of Dry-Mango, I like it too. Her blog looks really clear and pretty. She uses only a few pictures and explain about them with words. She doesn't rely on too much picutres. That's the reason why I like hers.

Here are the best blogs I chose!!!!!!


The blog which I like the best is Track of Cat. Her blog looks pretty nice and beatiful with wounderful pictures. She has a lot of information for each topic and describes with no complicated English so that I could make myself understood very well. That's why I like hers the best. Next time I make blog, I'd like to make it thinking and caring about the readers of my blog.


I like her blog, Sweet Memories too. Her blog is well designed and organized with nice pictures and colours. She uses coloured letters a lot but it doesn't bother me to read at all. She changes the size of letters for important words to attract. It's a very good thing so I'd like to do that next time.


Honey Bee is pretty nice too! There are many pictures which attract me a lot. She has lots of nice link too. I think I don't have enough links on each topic, so I should do. Her favourite movie is also one of my favourites so I enjoyed reading hers.

New Zealand

Sightseeing in NZ!





Have you ever been to New Zealand before? I haven't but I've wanted to do for a long time. When I think of New Zealand, I can imagine beautiful natures, rare creatures and many kinds of animals as you can also do. Today, I'm going to compare sightseeing in NZ to Japanese one. If you have an oppotunity to go to NZ, what would you do there? I think a lot of you would like to go scubadiving, skydiving and enjoy walking in the beautiful forests. Don't you want to shop? If you want to go shopping, Queens town would be nice to enjoy shopping!! It's like Karuizawa there. You can also enjoy hot springs in Rotorua. The place is like Beppu in Japan. It's called 'rotten town' because of its smell of the hot springs. This year, more than one million people in the world has visited NZ and more than seven million people have visited Japan. People from overseas seem to be interested in japanese old buildings and electronics in Akihabara I think. I've found some points which are the same between in NZ and Japan through searching.

HARI RAYA PUASA





I'm going to tell you about a festival, called 'Hari Raya Puasa'. This festival is for Muslims. It's kind of the same one as 'Syougatsu' in Japan. People celebrate it after enduring the heavy fasting. First of all, do you know what fasting is? In Islam, fasting is called 'Ramadan'. They don't eat, drink, nor smoke for like a month. Can you believe that they don't even swallow their own saliva? If you are found eating and drinking something, you'll have to walk around the city saying 'I ate food' It's shamefull, isn't it? Under 12 year old kids, sick people, and older people don't have to go fasting but the others do. People usually start buying foods before a week and stock them for the festival. I think this festival is the biggest event for Muslims I think because they can eat lots and lots and lots of food as much as they want after fasting! During Hari raya Puasa, they exchange cards. That's why I think it's the same as Syougatsu in Japan.

Movie

Dancer in the Dark

I watched lots of movies during summer vacation but 'Dancer in the Dark' was the best one and this is one of the greatest movies I've ever seen. Selma acted by Bjork and his little son lived in a small city in the United States. They were poor. Selma had to work really really really hard for one reason though she was getting to be blind. Her little son had to get his eyes operated because he was also fated to be blind if he didn't have an operation. I was so sorry to see Selma work hard though she's nearly blind. I can't tell you anymore about this story because I want you to check out this film and find out how it's going to be.Another reason why I enjoyed this movie is because I love Bjork. She's not only a great singer but an actress. She sings a lot in this film too. I loved the way of expressing their feelings dancing and singing. Im going to tell you about the soundtracks a little bit. All music in the film was done by Bjork herself. Tom yorke (singer of Radiohead) joined to one of the songs called 'I've seen it all' as a backingvocal. It was highly appraised at an Academy Award. If you like musical films, you'll enjoy a lot I promise.



The Rocky Horror Picture Show

This film is also one of my favourite ones. It's a musical comedy which was filmed in 1975 in the UK. Some of you may be thinking like "Who is this strange man!!!!??" looking at the picture on your left hand side but this film is really cool and funny. The story starts with a sence, Brad and Janet (They were a couple) with a broken car on the street. It rained really heavy on the night. They had nowhere to go but found a big castle near them. It looked pretty strange but they decided to ask for help. This choice was the begging of their worst nightmare...
The head of the castle was a strange man. He invented a remodeled human called 'Rocky' and he showed it to Brad and Janet. What do you think will happen? Check it out if you are really curious.

Diet

Do you really wanna be skinny?

To be thin like models is what girls around the world long for. So many kinds of diet pills and supplements are around us that we can buy them very easily. I can't say that taking pills to be slim is a good idea but it's better than not having meals. We are tended to think not having meals is the best way to loose weight but it's totally not. It actually is but we don't know how dangerous to do that. Anorexia is a serious desease you can have if you try not to eat anything to loose weight. There are lots of people suffer from this desease. Even the models do. They vomit soon after having meals. Karen Carpenter from The Carpenters died because of this terrible desease. Not just to diet but there are people who want to have AN (Anorexia Nervosa) as a sucidal way. Nowadays, there are lots of communities and organizations have tried to stop people from getting the desease. There hasn't been any models which are too skinny on magazines and fashion shows since a model died from Anorexia.
